You have a few years of experience behind you, and you just stepped into something new: a new company, a new team, or a promotion into a role you have not done before. You worked to get here, and this seat matters. Maybe it took a while to land. Maybe it is the next real step in your career. Maybe former peers are now watching how you handle it. Launch Pad is for the professional who wants to ramp fast, avoid the early missteps that quietly sink people, and be seen as someone who belongs, from jump.

The first 100 days are the easiest to get wrong

The hard part of a new role is rarely the work itself. It is everything around the work. These are the four things that quietly derail capable people in the first few months.

YOU MOVE TOO FAST

Feeling the pressure to make a mark, you start changing things before you understand them. The fixes look right and land wrong, and you lose the room you needed on your side.

You come in with the answer

Wanting to prove you belong, you lead with solutions instead of questions. People read it as "already decided," stop bringing you the real story, and you learn far less than you need to.

YOU MISS THE CULTURE

What worked at your last company becomes how you expect this one to run. The unwritten rules go unlearned, and you go sideways with people without ever knowing why.

You go it alone

Head down and proving yourself, you skip the early trust with your team and stakeholders, and never recheck with your boss what success really looks like. By the time you actually need their help, the relationship is not there yet.
Research from Leadership IQ found that nearly half of new hires falter within 18 months, and almost never because of the work. It comes down to fit, relationships, and reading the room. Launch Pad is built to get you through exactly that.

THE PAYOFF

WHAT YOU'll walk away with

The ideas about the first 100 days aren't new. The trouble is they usually arrive as a book on the shelf. Launch with Purpose is the opposite: short, guided moves you make in the moment, so what you learn actually turns into action.

A 100-day plan you'll actually use

Not a theory of one. A simple plan you build as you go and follow week to week.

Confidence in the moments that count

Your first team meeting, your first 1:1s, that first hard conversation. You'll know the move before you're in the room.

Early wins that prove your impact

Make your mark early, without overstepping.

Here are some answers to questions we frequently get asked.

What is FromJumpTM?

We’re an assimilation tool providing onboarding lessons through information, insight, and activities designed to ready team members like yourself from jump by guiding you through the first few months in your new role. Sometimes, you'll be given the context for why something is important like a nudge from a friend saying, “Hey, you might want to pay attention to this!" Other times, you’ll be given an activity to apply this insight and move your success forward.

Activities. What will I have to do?

These activities will help you LAUNCH with Purpose™. Some examples are:

  • Answering open ended reflection questions
  • Contributing to team meetings
  • Engaging with team mates and cross-functional coworkers
  • Building business and product acumen in your organization

It’s less about what you have to do and more about what you get to do. With these activities, you get to build a solid foundation to set you up for success. We can’t make the activities mandatory, but your company and manager are investing in you to be in the driver’s seat of your own onboarding with the expectation that you commit to the 100-day FromJumpTM journey.

Why is "LAUNCH" in caps?

That’s our research-backed philosophy. Check out what each letter represents and what you’ll learn and do along your journey.

How will I know how to do these activities?

Don’t worry, we’ll be giving you templates and tools to help. Many of these templates, like us, are works in progress. So you may go back and review, revisit, and revise. You can find all of the agendas, assessments, tools, and key LAUNCH documents at the end of your course under "Resource Library."

When will I have time for this?

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. These insights and activities are bite-sized for a reason - to make leadership learning digestible.

You’ll set yourself up for long-term success by being intentional from day 1 and committing to check in with FromJumpTM consistently. For you, that may mean blocking time each day. For others, that may mean blocking focus chunks each week. This journey is on your cadence, but it’s important to make time and to take the time.

How involved will my manager be?

Your manager is a key stakeholder in your onboarding journey and your long term success. They won’t be looking over your shoulder, but they are here to support you. Every now and then, FromJumpTM will nudge you to pull your manager into your onboarding journey through specific activities. And they will check in a few times throughout your journey.

Your inputs and reflections are confidential and will not be shared with your employer (we may provide anonymous group data, but they will not see your individual inputs). We want this experience to be psychologically safe. And, so does your employer - which is why we’re here.
